Penyrallt Fach is a comfortable converted 19th century stone built Piggery situated on a secluded organic dairy farm in the beautiful Teifi Valley of West Wales.
The cottage has wood floors and ceilings and the kitchen and much of the furniture has been made from trees grown in the woods on the farm.
The well equipped kitchen is part of the open-plan kitchen/dining /sitting-room which with the large farmhouse table and sofa and easy chairs provides a good place to relax and enjoy the quiet of the counrtyside. There is plentiful supply of books, board-games, dvds and videos as well as tv and radio.
The two bedrooms are simply and attractively furnished.
The cottage has its own enclosed lawn and is adjacent to the fine old stone farm buildings and the ancient farmhouse.
There is a small farm shop supplying home-reared beef & lamb and basic organic groceries.
The farm is a member of the Soil Association Demonstration Farm Network and visitors are welcome to request guided farm walks and to see the day-to-day running of a traditional family farm.
Newcastle Emlyn is a thriving small market town on the river Teifi.
It has a ruined castle, old church and is a gateway to Ceredigion as the river is the county boundary.
There is a livestock market held every Thursday and there are many friendly shops and small businesses in the town.
In the early summer a 'Dragon Festival' is held to celebrate the 'last dragon in Wales' and the local history society has interesting displays and talks.
