The high street is traditionally turkish with plenty of shops and hidden treasures to suit all styles. Lots of bargains to be had. Do not be afraid to barter, as that is local custom!
Many large supermarkets selling a big range of all european foods.
Plenty of banks and ATM mashines close by. Banks include HSBC.

Altinkum translated into English means golden sands. That is exactly what you will find here. Fantastic indoor market offering all sorts of designer labels at fantastic prices... open late daily.

Aegean Coast

Aegean coast. Beautiful beaches nerby. Plenty of bars and restaurants serving turkish cuisine as well as general foods to suit everyone. New marina due to open this summer. The Dolmus transportation network makes it easy to get around locally and very cheap. Historically, visitors must see Ephesus and Pamukkale. Seen as two of the ancient wonders of the world. Didim boasts a very modern Aquapark and the beach front caters for all sorts of water sports. There are many organized trips ranging from glass bottom boat trips to local town, trips including the must see Bodrum.
