Cocco Beach: it is also known as Oyster Bay Beach, a popular and frequently visited beach by local people. It is clean and has police patrol during the day. The beach is famous for beach-jogging, sea bleazing and swimming. Ras Kutani Beach Resort: Located about 34km south of Dar-es-salaam. Dar es Salaam is well-known for its mangrove trees, surrounded by woodland, which attracts monkeys and a variety of birds. Other beaches in the south of Dar es Salaam include Mikadi beach, which is closer to the ferry at Kigamboni, newly opened Beach Campsite at Kipepeo, Barracuda beach, and Amani Beach Resort, which is close to Ras Kutani Beach Resort.
