One of the main tourist attractions of the town is its shopping offer, recognised around the country, as it concentrates and extensive and diversified proposal that enables the visitor to enjoy a wide variety of diverse establishments: fashion, accessories, music, souvenirs, furniture... and much more.

The seafront of Platja d\'Aro is a dreamlike area of endless beaches and small coves to be discovered.

Lovers of nature and open spaces can find a large beach like the Main Beach, in an urban setting, to small corners like Cala dels Canyers where the water and the trees practically touch leaving a narrow strip of sand for only the most privileged swimmers.

Each of the seven beaches and coves of the town have their own special, complementary attractions. The Main Beach is the central option, where you can enjoy a more extensive space with more than of two kilometres of sand surrounded by the main tourist services.

Cala Rovira, a little to the north is chosen by people who wish to enjoy a smaller beach close to the township. Further away from the town itself, and to the north, are Cala del Pi and Cala dels Canyers preferred by people looking for peace and quiet and contact with less developed surroundings. Sa Conca is a beach with a special charm as it combines a wide sandy beach with green spaces and very few swimmers, proof of its charm is that it is often chosen for making films and advertisements. More recently, enigmatic and little known, we can still find Cala Pedrosa, edged by the characteristic Coastal Path of S'Agaró.
