Markets
Olvera
There is a regular Saturday market in Olvera, selling clothes, flowers, sweets, nuts, and almost everything else. It is held near the castle on Calle Bellavista. Begins around 11am and ends 2.00pm.
There is also a daily indoor market (not Sundays) which is located near the Saturday market. Here you can buy fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables.
Pruna
Again, this market starts at around 11 am through to about 2pm. This market is slightly bigger with more stalls.
There are other markets throughout the region, such as Antequerra and Campillos but these are about ¾ hour drive away. Also at Campillos there is a shop selling British goods called Brit Bits which is worth a visit especially if you are missing food items from the UK and there are Auction Rooms if you are on the lookout for a piece of furniture or similar.
