The apartment is furnished in a puristic but comfy style, with a completely equipped designer kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. Washing machine and tumble dryer are discretely hidden in the wall closet. If needed, the underfloor heating gives cosy warmth. And of course, for hot days the apartment is fully air conditioned.

Directly from the garden you step to the pool and whenever you need a cool drink or a snack it is only a few steps to the refrigirator.

And despite being only a brief walk from the beaches and bustling Camps Bay Promenade, the apartment is heavenly quiet.

This villa that was initially built by a private owner has been transformed into a hotel in 2002 carefully preserving the unique atmosphere and the beautiful gardens. Upon prior arrangement you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the retreat. Spoil yourself with delicious meals and wine from their well assorted wine cellar. Breakfast on the wonderful terrace with a view of the enchanted garden and the sea is a special treat. Or indulge in one of the various treatment at the retreat´s spa.....

While „The Glen“ and „Camps Bay Retreat“ offer you heavenly quietness and nature, the sister-hotel "The Bay Hotel“ is only a brief walk away in the middle of the buzz of activity on Camps Bay Promenade. Not just a suburb of Cape Town but a lifestyle. Each time we drive along kloof nek road from Cape Town to Camps Bay we enjoy the fantastic view this special place offers. Camps Bay is not as touristy as many coastal areas but it is a good mix of resident south africans and people from all over the world who come here to enjoy the special atmosphere. Since the South Africans are wonderfully open and friendly people, it is easy to meet and get to know people.
And everybody meets on Camps Bay Promenade right on the palm-fringed beach of Camps Bay.
Here you find restaurants with a great variety of dishes from all over the world - superfresh sushi, thai, italian, californian, of course south african and a lot more. There are also hip bars, lounges and clubs and if you like to party you will have plenty of occasion here. Supermarkets, bakeries, the wonderful "Mozart Ice Cream" and nice shops complete the choice. Just enjoy sitting on one of the many al fresco terraces to chat, watch the scene and enjoy your food and drink. Car enthusiasts will love all the beautiful cars that cruise by.
