Home description

As a location specifically designed for tourism, Vilamoura has proved to be a very successful holiday destination for all ages due to the variety of facilities that it provides.

The apartment is approx 15 min walk to the Marina with its beautiful yachts, restaurants and shops. You will also find the nearby blue flag Falesia beach. There are various water parks and the renowned Zoomarine where you can swim with the dolphins. There are five 18 hole championship golf courses in Vilamoura.

Nightlife acommodates all tastes and ages. Locally there is a top rate fitness centre which can be used on a daily rate and for anybody into the "market" scene there is a weekly market at the nearby town of Quarteria on Wednesdays. A visit to the nearby town of Loule is a must, even if only to ramble the narrow cobbled shopping streets, and for the shoppers, there is Algarge Shopping, which is Portugal's largest shopping centre.

Vilamoura

Amongst the attractions and facilities there are 6 different championship golf courses, large Marina, lawn bowling club, tennis centre, sports club, shooting club, night clubs, an international casino with glamorous shows, a cinema and an excellent riding school. Within the centre of Vilamoura there is a preserved Roman site and museum providing an interesting glimpse into the past.
