How to get there

Horta das canas is 12 km landinwards from Tavira, to get here you will need a car, the drive is around 15 to 20 minutes and is very pretty.

Flights to faro, lisbon and sevilla are recomended, from there you can use rent a car facilities or local transport to get to tavira and horta das canas.

From lissabon the bus is quickest: Eva transports, but train is also very comfortable- the journey takes 3.5 hours.

You could rent a car in tavira: Budget is central situated, and offers good service.

From faro airport (45 minutes drive) its quicker ofcourse and many carrental companies are represented. You could also take a ancient train to tavira.
