Interior facilities

The architecture is Mediterrenean / Algarvian and was built with local natural building materials and handcrafts.

These include the hand - thrown bricks that line the halls dome, floor in "riga", hand thrown colourful ceramic tiles, stone walls, limestone-lined swimming pool and portuguese limestone paving to name but a few.

The house and water are heated using a solar energy and ceramic heaters. The main water is filtered before entering the 5000 litter deposit.

The furnishings create a feeling of confort and well being and include traditional 19th century Portuguese piece as well as 50s, 60s and 70s pieces from designers such as Arne jacobsen, Morrison, Avelar, H.J. Wegner, Finn Juhl and Poul Henningsen. These are combined with 40s and comtemporary painting and tapestries from Timóteo, Helena Cesar, Tom and C. de Almeida.

The Kitchen is eqquiped with high-quality fitting, from electrical goods, utensils to the Danish furnishings and kitchen units.

The bathroom suites carry designers names such as Philippe Stark, A. Dubreuil and G. Ponti.

The garden covers a large area of arround 600 square meters of green lawn and local trees and plants, such as olive trees, palm trees, bouganvilleas and birds of aradise flowers.

The pool is completely white and streches towards th South West white a sea view. This area is supported by a shower, chairs and poolside beds.

The barbeque is built using traditional stones and is ideally located by the swimming pool área (8.00 x 4.00)
