Cruz da Assumada

Cruz da Assumada is an area just outside of Loule and is not more than a hamlet, no shops, but it has one international style restaurant with lunch from 7.50 euros pp. The bus service runs three times per day. For convenience a car is neccessary, however, should you not want to drive there are good cheap taxi services available day and nignt, we even have our own friendly, english speaking taxi driver.

Loule

Loule is a growing town, with more ammenities being added all the time, it is famous for its Carnaval which thake place in the weekend before Ash Wednesday, it is repeated again in August and is a really fun couple of days.
In July there is a week long jazz festival with acts from all over.

Algarve

The Algarve has over 3,000 hours of sunshine every year. We are within very easy reach of beaches,golf, tennis, waterparks, dolphinairium. countryside and onle 20 minutesfrom the airport. Loule has its own small castle and a number of other historical sites. On saturdays Loule has a gypsy market and an outdoor fruit and veg. market. Every day it has an indoor market for fruit and veg. plus a very good fish market.
There are numerous restaurants in Loule from very cheap to expensive, nothing outlandish. Loule also has a number of very good fashion and shoe shops, grear for all.
There is also an olympic size swimming pool in town.
