RENTAL RATES:-

Sept to June:- $875/wk / floor unit. Complete Villa (5 suites):- $2,340/wk, Mthly:- $4,840.

July and August:- $1,225 /wk/floor unit. Complete Villa (5 suites):- $3280/wk, Mthly:- $6,950.

BOOKING DEPOSIT:- ONE HALF OF THE RENTAL PLUS $300 SECURITY DEPOSIT. This $300 Security Deposit is refundable, less $50 cleaning fee per floor, subject to deductions for losses or damage etc, and excessive cleaning, over 4 hours.

RENTAL PAYMENT: The full amount of the RENTAL( plus the $300 Security Deposit), is to be paid 60 days before arrival. It is 100% refundable (less 10% cancellation fee) if rental is canceled 90 days or more before arrival. 50% refundable if cancellations are within 60 days of arrival. NO refunds within 30 days of arrival, OR, for weather and travel delays. Travel insurance is recommended.

Yucatan Peninsula

Villa ' Castillo Nicte-Ha' the finest home in the area. It is 7 mls east of Progreso, 1 mile east of Chicxulub a quiet fishing town.
Many Mayan architectural sites and ruins abound on the Yucatan Peninsula, Chitzen Itza, 1.5 hours drive, Uxmal, 1 hour. Explore small villages, Roads are good. Cancun, Cozumel and Mexican Riviera are 4 hour by toll road via Valladolid and Chitzen Itza, about $30 by coach.1000's of pink flamingos nest on local lagoons ,from viewing areas.
Merida, a 1700's colonial town, is 20 miles south of Progreso. It has Embassies, Plazas, beautiful buildings, Blvd's, night life, cultural bustling town center. Lovely old theaters with adjacent dining both indoors and outdoors. Most cultural events are free. In El Centro ,one can take a tour in horse drawn carriages around the cobbled streets.
Progreso, has a fine esplanade and beach area, supermarkets, colorful street vendors and boat harbor. Cruise ships dock weekly. Shop for fine carved local artisan products. Walk central plazas.
A moderate climate. Our 'winter' is 70F to 75F, clean ocean breeze and little traffic. Walking shorts and summer clothing is preferred. Canadians winter here for months. Local buses are plentiful. Many taxies. Life relaxed.

Many Mayan archeological sites and ruins abound on the Yucatan Peninsula. CASTILLO NICTE HA villa is centrally located to many of them. Chichen Itza,Uxmal, Mayapan. Are about 1 ½ hour drive. Dzibilchaltun is a 20 minute drive. Explore small villages, colonial towns. Dive cenotes, caves, fine dine at Hacienda's and visit churches and Convents, remnants of a bygone Spanish cultural evolution era.

Chicxulub/Progreso

Activities and Attractions
Depending on the time of year, the festivals in the town square are an exciting Mexican experience
Very close to Chicxulub is the port of Progreso. The small town features a nice beach, jetski rentals, and other watersports options. There's an extensive crafts market near the pier as well as other tourist shopping along the town's streets. There are several restaurants along the beach road that serve drinks and food at tables and palapas situated right on the beach.
North American style super markets. Mexican open-air markets. Mayan ruins.
18 hole golf court in the area.

Chicxulub

Despite the small size of the village, Chicxulub is interesting. There are restaurants and markets in town, occasional bull fights. Chicxulub is a sleepy fishing village with a central plaza and church.
