Island of Gozo

Gozo is the northernmost Island of the Malta Archipelago. It is very good for a good relaxing break from the hectic pace of normal life. Restaurants offering a wide array of Mediterranean food dot the whole Island with very reasonable prices. Fish and pasta are a local speciality but you can find all type of restaurants to satisfy all apetites and ages.
From April to end of October temperatures are in the 20 to the 32 degree regions with July and August being the hottest months. As all of the Maltese Islands, Gozo is an open air museum dating form neolithic times to our most recent independence from UK in 1964.
Ggantija temples are the most visited historical attraction in the whole of the Maltese Islands.
Beaches such as Ramla are beautifula and still in pristine clear water conditions.
