Vinci

Every year from April to June Vinci celebrates the life and works of Leonardo with exhibitions, events and lectures.
During the second half of July there is the village fair that closes with a beautiful display of fireworks.
During summer throughout Tuscany there are plenty of events, village fairs with markets, good quality street-food, concerts etc. while in autumn the main events are the grape harvest, the olive harvest, and the truffle season in San Miniato.

Vinci

Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo, is an historical village surrounded by the vineyards and olive groves typical of this area of Tuscany and is centrally located with easy access to the major centres of art and places of interest.
Vinci is a working village, too busy with everyday life to be spoilt by tourism but is complete with shops, bars, restaurants and 2 museums dedicated to the life and works of Leonardo.

Tuscany

Tuscany is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy.
The art, the history, the food, the landscape and the people will make you want to come back again and again.
Florence, Pisa, Siena, Pistoia, Lucca and Arezzo all deserve at least one visit as do little gems such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, Montecatini alto, Vinci, San Miniato and Cerreto Guidi, Pienza and many more.
The landscape varies from the lushness of the hilly olive groves and vineyards to calm wheat fields, to almost psychedelic sunflower fields and the wild landscape of the mountainous region of Garfagnana.
