La Scarnice is owned and operated by Gloria Gonzales, a Peruvian-born woman whose rich life has included experience in the preservation and reforestation of rain forests in her native land. In twenty years of managing La Scarnice, Gloria has become an expert in biological farming and in the recipes and cooking that enhance her unique products. She welcomes most guests in their own language (she speaks fluent English, German, Italian and Spanish), cooking and caring for them with the warm generosity typical of her country.
