La Valle a Polvereto is a beautiful old farm estate extending 28 hectares, covered with vineyards, olive groves, orchards, grassy areas and woodland in an private valley. The garden is an ideal place in which to relax and for the more energetic there is a footpath leading through the estate for you to explore. La Valle is set in the hills in a most picturesque area between Montespertoli and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. The farmhouse has been carefully restored to maintain many of its original features. The owners have created a lovely English garden with a variety of roses, clematises, herbs and shrubs. There is a good swimming pool in the garden (7m x 14m) from where you can enjoy superb views across the valley. Montespertoli, which is famous for its wine festivals, and Tavarnelle are nearby and offer good shopping facilities and a variety of restaurants.

The farmhouse has been carefully divided into eight properties all of which are comfortably furnished to a high standard with a selection of antique rustic furniture and good modern kitchens. There are terracotta floors throughout and most rooms have beamed ceilings. One of the apartments is occupied by the owners and the other six are available for letting. Each property has its own entrance and space for eating out of doors. The estate is reached by a small country lane.

The next village is Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (6 km), where you can find a supermarket, several grocery shops, a butcher, bakery, several restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, bank and a post office. There is also the bus stop with good connections to Florence and Siena.

In the proximity there is a great variety of small trattorias and specialty restaurants - each night you can dine in a new place ..

La Valle a Polvereto is surrounded by a marvellous, well-kept English garden. Terracotta pots brimming with flowers can be seen everywhere. There are gazebos amid young olive groves, and tables and chairs for barbecuing/sitting. Plenty of space enables all guests to have their own privacy. The garden is full of olive and fruit trees, a large swimming pool , where the guests can relax in peace and a barbecue area where you can cook and enjoy genuine Tuscan cuisine. Entirely administrated by the owner-family.

San Gimignano is just 18 Km away, and is a symbol and treasure beloved by all humanity, safeguarded and protected by Unesco for its art, history and culture. The other major Tuscan historical tourist zones are all nearby: Firenze 20 km, Siena 30 km, Arezzo 90 km, Volterra 30 km, Pisa and Pistoia 60 km, Lucca 80 km , the Chianti region 30 km and the Tyrrhenian sea 60 km away.

The region has a great culinary tradition; everywhere you go you can enjoy the wonderful dishes of Tuscan cuisine, accompanied by the fine wines.

Sport and nature enthusiastic may take excursions on foot, on horseback or on mountain bike and wander through woods and vineyards, ruins of old churches, castles and lovely old farm buildings. Golf Club (18 holes) is 30 km away , tennis-courts and horse-riding are 10 km away.
