Naviglio Pavese

Very lively area in the evenings (the apartment is set back from the road so enjoys peace and quiet) with many poplar restaurants, trattorie and pizzeria. The canal is closed to traffic during the summer months and is pedestrian access only. It is a very popular area to stay and very Milanese!

Milan

Easy reach of Lake Como (Cadorna station half hourly service), Lake Maggiore and good links with all Italian cities by rail and air.

Milano/Monza

Milan - capital of the north of Italy with lots to see and do. The medieval centre is dominated by the incredible gothic catherdral "Duomo" and Sforzesco castle. The "Brera" art gallery boasts many priceless works of art by all the Italian painters whilst having an extensive international flavour also. Shopping is number one in Milan offering a vast array of items to suit all budgets.
