Half way between the road from Otranto to Gallipolli hidden in the Salentine countryside lies a small haven. La Fata Turchina is your home on this holiday. Set in a beautiful location, each room has its own individual style as well as a

La Fata Turchina is situated inland but it’s only twenty minutes from the sea. And there’s a choice of two! The Ionian or Adriatic are just minutes away, with a choice of white sandy beaches or rocky cliffs and not forgetting the stunning
and ancient grottos found in the region too.

Your accommodation is situated 3km from the historic shopping town of Maglie: the third biggest shopping town in Italy after Rome and Milan. Just 15km from Otranto, voted one of Italy’s most picturesque places, the lovely harbour at Castro where on a clear day you can see the mountains of Albania and the spa town of Santa Cesarea with its thermal springs.

Just twenty minutes away you will also find “The Florence of the South” the stunning city of Lecce: heaving with history, culture and tradition.
