The apartment is in the 1st floor of a traditional country house , calm in the green on the top of a little hill, 16 Km south of Florence,with ground (20000 m2) of cypresses and olive-trees, perfect for a romantic holiday grooving in the cypresses wood, or riding or through the wine farms, or even flying with a balloon in the morning on the Chianti's country. If you need a holiday with your little family, you can rest in the big garden, fish in the little lakes, or bike through the many middle age villages or visit ancient abbeys with nice fresks, or tasting wine and restaurants all around in the country. To visit beautiful monuments and museums of Florence will be not stressing and very easy by the bus line "SITA", stopping not far away from the house and bringing you directly in the downtown. If you like to drive your car or to rent one (railway station or airport), you can visit all the most beautiful tuscan cities: The middle age houses of San Gimignano e Certaldo(20 Km), Siena e Volterra (40 Km), the Renaissance in Lucca (70 Km) or Pisa (90 Km), or the beaches in Grosseto (nature park) and Livorno (ferry boat to Elba island) to 100 Km. In the neighbourhood (1-4 Km): Sport centre, wine and olive oil farms, typical restaurants, shops.

Countryside

Between sweet hills and wine or oil farms, you can find several ancient abbeys, often hidding interesting fresks and architecture, moreover allover the countri you can visit many old villages from the middle age: San Gimignano with its high towers, Certaldo with the castle and thebirth home of Boccaccio, Volterra where you find the best alabaster products,Barberino Val d'Elsa with its typical stone houses.
