The medieval walled city of Como is a gem and the apartment is located within the high stone walls once defending the city fro centuries of invasions. It is a maze of narrow streets now adorned with shops and retaurants making it a lovely place to spend a holiday.

Lake Como Area

Simply stunning scenery around Lake Como which is in my view the most impressive of the Italian lakes. Easy access by ferry makes it a pleasure to discover and visitors can visit the many stupendous villas which are open to the public with marvellous gardens. The tourist information office is on Piazza Cavour on the lake front in front of the ferry terminal.

Lombardy

Lombardy is the richest of Italy's regions but it is not all work and industry, the area offers much for the tourist especially the Lakes.
