This is an appartment reccommanded for who doesnt wont move with car , because is on the center ,so you can move walk because everithyngs are in the next meter. Bar service, is possible just to phone to the bar near the house and order the breakfast or something more, the service its free.

Location

Capo di Milazzo is a thin peninsula on the north eastern part of the island of Sicily which extends into the Tyrrhenian Sea towards the Lipari Islands. The town of Milazzo is located on the centre of the peninsula.

MilazzoTown finds 40 Km to the West of Messina, on the tirrenian coast. It's formed from two parts. An ancient part, or high city, on the height to culminating in the medieval castle and the old Dome. A modern part, or low city, risen on the alluvional plain to South.

Capo Milazzo is a penisula that extend for 7 km in the Tirrenian Sea. There is the old town with the castle, a caratteristic church inside a rock dedicated to Saint Antonio from Padova. There are interesting paths where you can see the typical mediterranean vegetation.

Milazzo, the ancient Mylai, the sea city, sits at the base of the neck of Capo Milazzo, a sickle-shaped promontory that juts into the Tyrrhenian Sea, pointing like a finger towards the Aeolian Islands, only few miles offshore. Mythology holds that the area’s pastures provided grazing for the flocks of the Sun god while the islands were considered to be home to Aeolus, the keeper of the winds, as well as to pretty nymphs, dancing satyrs and sileni (spirits of wild nature later associated with Dyonisius). It was possibly here that Ulysses and his companions were shiprecked and encountered Polyphemus.

Milazzo origin is rooted in remotest times. Due to its highly strategic position, it was a site suitable for settlement since the Antiquity. It was the scene of many battles, a silent witness being its fortress seeing many rulers succeeding throughout the centuries.
