This dazzling apartment is nicely located near the very old centre of Cagliari "Castello" and it is the ideal solution for a nice romantic stay in the historical centre of Cagliari taking advantage of the nice view of the city and the sea from the S. Remy rampart.
The Apartment is sited on the second floor of a historical building; it has been recently renovated with refined furniture, period doors and windows. It is composed of a large sunny living room with kitchen and a sofa bed, a small passage brings to the bathroom and to the bedroom from which a small balcony allows the view of Torino Street and the sea from the ferry port.
Cagliari's Sardinian name Casteddu literally means the castle. Cagliari has some peculiar gastronomic traditions. Many dishes are based on the wide variety of fish and sea food available, for example, burrida. Very good wines are also part of Cagliaritanians' dinners: excellent wines are in fact produced in the nearby vineyards of the Campidano plain. Cagliari is renown for its open and friendly international people, art museums and Art Galleries, the sea, the movida and cheap lodgings, classic itineraries and a lot more to make a visit worth wise.
Cagliari is Sardinia's main city and the centre of political, economic and cultural life on the island. Its location is lovely, set in the middle of the gorgeous Golfo degli Angeli and surrounded by small lakes and gently rolling hills. There is a rich mix of cultures on this island reflected by the city; the Castello area of the city centre has Spanish origins with influences from the Italian city of Pisa, while the more modern districts surrounding the central hill show their Ligurian and Piedmontese origins in their architecture and design.
