How to get there

When you are at Lucca... From the Lucca ringroad, just outside the old walls, follow the road north towards the Abetone pass and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (signed Abetone).

Upon reaching the foothills, after the poplar-lined avenues and opposite the Esselunga supermarket, the new road branches left (signed Abetone) and takes you through several tunnels.Near Borgo a Mozzano, cross the bridge, you are now on the western side of the Serchio river. You will pass by a icturesque arched stone bridge (IT REMAINS ON YOUR RIGHT). Follow the indications for Barga, note that you will cross again the river to reach it.

The square where we usually meet our guest is"Il Fosso square", the first one that you'll encounter when you'll arrive in Barga (this is the highest, there's a big parking and on its top a big bronze statue).
