Ansedonia is a frazione of the comune of Orbetello, in the province of Grosseto, southern Tuscany (Italy). Ansedonia is situated on a small rocky promontory, and it's the most modern and luminous seaside resort in the area.It faces the wonderful waters of the Gulf of Argentario. In the archeological zone you can see the ruins of the Roman city called Cosa, while near the sea there are a lot of villas set in green vegetation. The cliffs connect Ansedonia's beach to the “Taglia Etrusca”,an old Roman channel cut through the rock in order to ensure the flux and reflux of water into the ancient port.
