Portnablagh

The seaside holiday town of Portnablagh offers some rock fishing to the north of the Carrownamaddy Estuary for small pollack and wrasse. Boat fishing can be very good and is similar to that experienced from Downings. To the West of Portnablagh lies a long stretch of north eastern facing beach backed by sand dunes. In easterly winds during autumn, occasional bass and flounder can been taken there.

Location E: The estuary at Dunfanaghy provides excellent digging for lugworm and white ragworm.
