District 5 - Central Pest

District 5 is the main Downtown area. The Government buildings are located here, including one of the major landmarks of Budapest, the Parliament Building. The majority of the big hotels are located in District V, the Marriott, Inter-Continental, Meridian and the Kempinski.
The stylish pedestrianised shopping street, the Vaci Utca, is in the heart of this district. Most of District V is along the Danube. This is where the beautiful Chain Bridge can be found. This is the City Part where the city”s financial, administrative, cultural, governing, touristic centers, the 5-stat hotels (along the Danube) are located. The most desirable part of the city is District 5.
