How to get there

Flights

Chios has several flights a day from Athens on Aegean and Olympic. There are direct charter flights to Chios in the summer from the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and Austria. Aegean will start flying to Athens from London Stansted on May 15th 2008 but the connections are not good.

Ferries

At least two ferries a day from Piraeus to Chios. Ferries also from Thessoloniki, Mytiline, Samos and other islands in summer.

More Obscure Routes Other possibilities:
Twice weekly flights from Rhodes and Mytiline (Lesvos) and once a week from Samos.
Coming in from Turkey involves a bus journey from Izmir to Cesme, a ferry from Cesme and a probable overnight stay in Turkey. Car Hire Contact us if you need help but you might find online companies are good value e.g. easyCar and HolidayAutos.
