Spartia

Spartia is a small, sandy beach with lots of rocky outcrops. It is more a spot for a quick swim than the kind of beach to spend the whole day. The sandy beach is to one side of a small jetty and harbour. To the other side impressive white limestone cliffs tower above the milky sea below. Spartia is a pretty little beach with its clear aquamarine water and soft white sand. There are often yachts just off the coast here, as there is sailing centre at Spartia. Spartia beach appeared fairly clean, although there was some sea grass washed ashore. Spartia beach has a lot of shade. It is completely dominated by the cliffs behind which cut out most of the light for a large part of the day. There is not much in the way of facilities at Spartia beach aside from a couple of tavernas behind the beach.
