Being so close to Paris, there is lots to do and see, many places of interest - and for the children, there is of course Disneyland which can be enjoyed by all the family.

This part of the parisian area is the most famous for tourism and culture.
Near of Auffargis are lots of parcs (natural parcs, attraction parc, animal parcs), water places, forests.

between Versailles & Rambouillet (Yvelines)

Not far of the village are lots of famous castles such as Versailles, Rambouillet, Breteuil, Maintenon and Dampierre. Museums.
Other tourists places worthly of a visit are Thoiry (you can drive your car among wild animals), France Miniature, Espace Rambouillet, and the very famous Cathedral of Chartres.
There are many good restaurants around.

Auffargis

Just outside the village of Aufargis you will enjoy to visit the "Etangs de Hollande" (true beaches during the sunny season) and of course the "Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay " ( This Abbeye has been bilt during the 12th Century).
