A travel cot and high chair can be provided at no extra cost. All bedding & linen (apart from travel cot) and towels are provided free of charge. One well behaved dog is welcome (downstairs only) on request, for a small additional charge. Smoking is not allowed in the cottage.
Moreton-in-Marsh, the lovely old market town in the north Cotswolds, grew up around the Fosse Way, the old Roman road which runs through the wide main street. Moreton-in-Marsh is on the route of the old London to Worcester coaching road, and was a popular stopping place for stagecoaches. Several inns and hotels originating from the coaching heydays still exist in the High Street, and offer hospitality to the traveller of today, who arrive in Moreton in more modern forms of transport.
Located at the head of the beautiful Evenlode valley, Moreton is a thriving market town dating back 1000 years to the Saxon era. The small, friendly and pretty town provides a wide range of facilities and is the perfect base from which to explore the world-famous Cotswolds.
Moreton is easily accessible from London by car and with the advantage of its own railway station the train from Paddington in central London is 1 hour 20 minutes journey. This makes Moreton the perfect stepping stone to this idyllic part of rural England.
Moreton is a small and friendly Cotswold town, with a good range of shopping facilities, which makes it an excellent centre for any visitor. Excellent hotels and restaurants abound in the town, whilst the beauty of the Cotswolds is on the doorstep. Moreton is a delightful place to visit and an even better place in which to live and work.
