The town of Paralimni is approx 5 mins journey time, and has shops, coffee shops, restaurants and even Marks and Sparks, the local churches are also worth a visit.

Kapparis

Kapparis is slightly quieter than its neighbour Protaras, but offers two beaches/coves and has all amenities that you would require, Bakery, Supermarkets, Car hire, Pubs, Taverna's and take away.
A car is not neccessary unless you wish to do some siteseeing.

Protaras

Protaras is a popular holiday destination with its well known Fig Tree Bay, with golden sandy beaches and torquoise sea, the area is alive at night with its main strip area full of restaurants that offer varied menus suited to all taste and nationality.
