Home description

Apartment Azure Aqua is a newly furnished spacious apartment situated in a brand new building on the beautiful island of Ciovo. The apartment is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, a few minutes walk to beach and 15-minute drive to Trogir.

Ciovo is connected by a bridge to the town of Trogir, a famous cultural and historical tourist destination. Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Ciovo vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. During the day enjoy in local beaches, sun and coffee shops; taste local cuisine and sample the friendly people of the village. Alternatively rent a car and explore the natural beauties of the island or visit town Trogir, get familiar with its history and the local culture. Or take a 30-minute drive to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace. For a quiet holiday come in April-June or September/October. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes it a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car, but also makes for a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split, Trogir, beautiful Krka waterfalls, adventures rafting on Cetina river.

Getting there is easy by car or by flying. Split airport is a short taxi ride away and access to the island is by bridge. You will be greeted in the Trogir offices of the English managed property manager. Their staff can tell you all the best aces to visit and help with any enquiries. You will feel completely looked after.

Location

Trogir is connected with major Europe cities through very well organized airline network. Airport Split is only 3km from Trogir, so literally, you are just few hours away of our beautiful town. Routes shown on the map are some of direct flights for Split, although, if you fly via Zagreb, you will find many other options to reach Split. Ask your Airline Company about details (most of the European airline companies have daily connections with Split throughout summer period). If you are coming overseas, fly through Frankfurt or London Heathrow (frequent daily flights to Split from these airports!).

If you are coming by road, follow main Croatian road from Zagreb through Karlovac, Gracac and Knin to reach Trogir from the North. You will reach Trogir from Italy by following Adriatic Road through Rijeka, Zadar and Sibenik.

You may want to visit Trogir by boat, either in private arrangement or by organized connections with Italian coastal cities of Ancona, Pescara, Bari or Venezia. For ferry transfers, contact your Maritime agency for timetables or visit official web site of Croatian ferry company "Jadrolinija".

Placed in the area of mild Mediterranean climate, Trogir with its 2700 sunny hours per year is a real treasure among other tourist destinations in Croatia. Average air temperature throughout the year is above 15°C, reaching more than 30°C in summer. Sea temperature is well above 25°C during summer period.

Tourism is the largest industry in Trogir region covering 50% of Trogir's budget with more than 20.000 beds in hotels and private apartments. Still, there is a fishing and agriculture tradition among population in surrounding areas.

Everywhere you go in Trogir area, you will meet very friendly and charming people, smooth combination of Southern temperament and warm hospitality, thanks to our long tourist tradition.
