Apartment Amber is a beautifully furnished one bed apartment situated in a brand new building with swimming pool and large sunbathing terrace on the beautiful island of Ciovo in the village of Slatine. A large private terrace also offers you outstanding views of the sea which take ones breath away. The sea is aqua blue and there is a pebbly beach just a 50m from the house. The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood, a few minutes walk to a secluded beach and 15-minute drive to Trogir. Ciovo is connected by a bridge to the town of Trogir, a famous cultural and historical tourist destinationCome in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Ciovo vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. During the day enjoy in local beaches, sun and coffee shops; taste local cuisine and sample the friendly people of the village. Alternatively rent a car and explore the natural beauties of the island or visit town Trogir, get familiar with its history and the local culture. Or take a 40km drive to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Dioclecean's Palace. For a quiet holiday come in April-June or September/October. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes it a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car, but also makes for a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split, Trogir, beautiful Krka waterfalls, adventures rafting on Cetina river and other interesting places on the mainland.

Location

Slatine, a small village harbour on the northern coast of the island of Ciovo, 7 km southeast of Trogir. Slatine has recently become a small tourist picturesque place with many still unknown values. In Slatine there are many beautiful coves with some of the most beautiful beaches of this area, the most famous beach being Kava beach.

Kava beach is more secluded beach with no homes or buildings in the area. To reach it, you must pass through the village of Slatine and then drive for more 4km to the east, with mostly gravel, and sometimes, very rough road.

The centre of the village (a small fishermen port) is where all important summer happenings take place such as “fisherman's fests". Slatine has all the necessities you might need: a post office, medical clinic, exchange office, 4 restaurants, and 3 supermarkets. The restaurants offer the Dalmatian food of the highest quality, the beach bar Lumbrelin organizes every-day-parties with different performers.
