In the high season of July and August Milna is full of holidaymakers from all over Europe, especially from the yachting community as there are 2 stylish marinas in the town. The biggest and most secure harbour of Brac attracts sailors from all parts of Adriatic Sea and Mediterranean. Taste traditional cuisine and sample the friendly bars and cafes of the village. Enjoy the organized sports activities on offer or just lay in the sun. Alternatively rent a car and explore the naturals beauties of the island, its history and local culture. Visit the famous beaches in Bol or take a 45-minute ferry ride from Supetar to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace. Milna is the best natural bay in use as a navy port and ACI marina, with more than 200 anchorage places. It is surrounded by beautiful sandy and pebbly beaches with crystal clear sea.
Milna is situated 20 kilometres south-west from Supetar on the West coast of the island. In the summertime Milna is a very vibrant place because of all the yachts and boats that want to spend the night in a safe port. It has many sport activities such as soccer, volley ball, basketball and tennis, and courts on which you can play. The historical meaning of Milna starts from the 17th century, the local church is a very interesting religious place in built in rococo style.
In the most famous bay in Milna called Osibova, there are the remains of a gothic church. Also it is important to mention that the Russian military have had its own fleet in Milna during the Napoleon's wars in 1800.
