The Hacienda typically rents for weeklly periods for between $850 and $650 per week depending on the season or the Holidays.

We sometimes offer last minute special rates so please contact us for a direct quote - mail us from the form bellow.

We typically take a %50 deposit for the rental period + a $200 security deposit to secure the dates, the balance is due 2-4 weeks before the rental period unless otherwise arranged.

  • Cleaning charge of $75 is extra

How to get there

These are the basic directions and information on how travel to Montezuma, Cosat Rica and Hacienda Delicias.

Most Major Airlines fly to Costa Rica the major city is San Jose and the airport code is SJO. There is another major airport to the North in Liberia which can also be flown into. the Major airport in San Jose is actually in the town of Alajuela 25 min west of San Jose center.

From here you bacically travel West to the Coast on the main highway there is only one so that is simple enough.

Montezuma & Hacienda Delicias is located on the Nicoya Peninsula at it's southernmost tip.

You will be traveling west from the San Jose / Alajuela area on the Pan American Highway. This road takes you through the mountains on the way to the Pacific Coast the drive to the Coast is about 2 1/2 hours.

You are heading to the town of Puntarenas where you will be taking a ferry across the Gulf of Nicoya to the town of Paquera on the other side.

The ferry ride is about $10 for a car and driver and $1.25 per passenger.

The trip across takes about an hour. Once on the other side of the Gulf of Nicoya you arrive at the Village of Paquera, from here there is one road which travels to Cobano the main town in the Southern Nicoya where there is a Gas Station, Bank & Hospital. from Cobano you take a right at the Banco National and go straight on to Montezuma. From Paquera to Montezuma is about an hour.

And from Montezuma center to the Hacienda is about 3 minutes.

We will arrange to meet you in the Village of Montezuma and have you follow us back up to the Hacienda.

By plane the flight gets you from San Jose to the Nicoya Peninsula in about 30 min. and costs about $75. You fly into Tambor airstrip and then take a taxi to the Hacienda it is about 30 min from the Tambor Airstrip to Hacienda Delicias.
