Home description

Modern 4-room apartment in excellent condition, incl. 1 living and eating room, 2 bedrooms, 1 home office. There are 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen with gas stove/ oven. 140 sqm net living area (i.e. not the typical Chinese "construction sqm" figure which includes shared public areas and thus is inflated; this is as is -- net). Parquet flooring. Central heating. Air conditioning. Furnished. (Unfurnished can be arranged if you prefer.) 5th floor. Elevator.

Subway stop: Ciqikou, line 5. Shopping mall (with skating rink) and hospital just around the corner. Beijing is safe, but there is 24h security anyway.

You can walk to Tian'anmen square or Wangfujing shopping street within half an hour's time (or get there faster by using any vehicle you like). It's a 20 minute walk to Beijing Railway station. Finally, enjoy your daily walks or exercises, singing, dancing at the Temple of Heaven park which is 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. (Note that most other ads about locations in Beijing will refer to similar distances timewise, but you'll most likely need anything between a SUV and a helicopter to cover them in that same time.)

Ciqikou

Ciqikou is close to the Chongwen inner city gate and stands for "porcelain area" which is what may have been traded here centuries ago. Nowadays it is an important intersection within Beijing's second ring road which means that it is easy to move about from here. Otherwise, it is a more modernized mixed shopping and living quarter with no industry.
