The main attraction at Famara has to be the beach, whilst not always suitable for swimming; it is a surfer’s paradise. The working village of La Caleta de Famara is found at one end of the beach, this is predominately a fishing village that boasts some great tapas bars and restaurants to relax in. Famara cliffs dominate the other end of the beach and are some 450m high.
Great for walking and cycling and only 10 minutes drive to the historic town of Teguise.
