Holiday village “Iva” is situated in the picturesque Rodopi Mountains, just 4 km away from the city of Sarnitsa and 20 km from the city of Dospat.

Holiday village “Iva” has one apartment and 6 cozy rooms, situated in a single building. Each room has a separate bathroom and some of them have a kitchen box, equipped with a fridge, electric stove and kitchenware.

The village also has 9 villas, which vary in their architectural style and can meet a wide range of personal requirements and preferences. Each of them has its own kitchen box, bathroom and a convenient balcony. The complex is within the range of a satellite TV link.

It lies at 1200 m altitude on the western bank of the Dospat dam. The unique combination of a tranquil lake surrounded by century-old pine and fir forests and lush meadows abounding in panoramic views is the ideal scenery for a relaxing rest away from the bustling city life.

A stay at the holiday village can be a good occasion for nature lovers to get acquainted with the natural beauties of the “Mountain of Orpheus”. One of the most interesting routes includes the Beslet peak, from which you can enjoy a majestic view towards the Dospat dam and the adjacent plain.

In the opposite direction you can see all the way to Pirin mountain. Other local attractions are the rock phenomenon Kaialitski skali, the so called Ice pit – a small cave in which you can find ice all year long. In the framework of the village, you can visit the fully restored early-orthodox church dating back from the 4-th century – the only one in the area. The scenic road along the lake can take you to the nearby city of Dospat.

The gorgeous and intact environment around the holiday village provides the opportunity not only for a wholesome rest in the open air, but also for all kinds of water sports, biking, off-road, caving and during the winter - skiing.

The Dospat dam is an angler’s dream. The crystal clear waters are inhabited by numerous species of fish: perch, Balkan and American trout , brook trout, carp and other kinds of carpfish. After a fruitful fishing day you can cook your catch yourselves, using the convenient open-air BBQs, and enjoy it, served with the finest drinks, in a good company.

Even our smallest guests are being taken into consideration. We have a well-equipped playground, where they can play in the summer sun.

We have a restaurant, called “Panorama”, which is at your disposal. There you can taste some of the local dishes, cooked with ecologically clean products. On request, we can organize parties or celebrations in the restaurant. You can also enjoy the lake from the comfort of our summer bar, situated underneath the cool shade of the pines.

Forget about boredom while staying with us!

Our new game room has a pool table, mini-soccer and a darts game at your convenience. We also have a motor boat and few bikes, which you can rent during the summer season. In addition, after a refreshing walk in the woods you can completely relax in our new Finnish sauna.

Only 52 km east, adventurers can find the Iagodinska cave and the Buinovsko gorge. Just a few kilometers further, you can see the fascinating Trigrad gorge and one of the biggest caves in Bulgaria – “The Devil’s Throat”. At approximately the same distance in the opposite direction, you will find two of our most famous architectural reserves the villages Kovachevica and Garmen.
