\"Relax Danube\" Family House is situated in the village of Pojarevo, near the town of Tutrakan and the River Danube. It offers to its guests three bedrooms with bathrooms, TV sets with satelite television. There is a dining-room with fireplace, as well as barbeque in the garden. Every day the owners offers different and tasty meals from the Dobrouja region.
The Danube river turns the region into a suitable area for relaxation and walks in the nature, family picnics, cultural and historical sightseeing. Here the tourists can go swimming and fishing in the Danube River and practise water sports. The boat excursions to the islands nearby include: sheatfish fishing, net casting, fishing net making, pulling at the oars and camping. Tourists can take part in fish soup cooking or fish grilling.
There is a new Ecology path along the Danube River bank - Toutrakan - the village of Pojarevo and Malak Kosoui island.
Near Toutrakan is located the nature preserve of Kalimok - a protected territory of rare waterfowl and water plants. There is another nature preserve located 30 km away of the town of Toutrakan, which represents a beautiful lake with exquisite waterlilies called Malak Preslavets.
Close to the town of Toutrakan there is a fishing village that naturally became autonomous during the Bulgarian Renaissance and has many authentic buildings. In the center of the town is a Roman forest wall and defensive fighting tower of Transmariska ancient forest dating back from the end of the 3rd century.
A unique Danube Fishing and Boat Building ethnographic museum is located in Toutrakan, since the town was known as the Danubian fishing centre during the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. It shows ancient fishing tools, photos and drawings explain the fishing manner of the Danubian villages inhabitants.
