How to get there

Many major airlines fly directly from the UK to Sofia, for example British Airways, Lufthansa and Bulgaria Air. For budget airlines, try Wizzair direct from London Luton or Easyjet direct from London Gatwick.

Our house is located in the spa village of Pchelinski Bani, 60km from Sofia, 25km from Borovets and 9km from Kostenets. See map. Car hire (from 20 Eur per day) is recommended in order to explore and make the most of the locality. It takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to drive from Sofia airport to the house and is a straightforward route consisting mostly of motorway.

If you do not like to drive abroad, there are trains from Sofia to Kostenets, from where you can take one of the four daily buses (1 lev) to the village or jump in a taxi (8 lev).
