Gutsal

Gutsal is a typical Bulgarian village located in a valley at the foot of the Rila and Sredna Gora mountains (South-West Bulgaria) in Municipality Samokov (Sofia District). With its fantastic views, a picturesque small lake near, two shops and a traditional orthodox church, it has an easy going pace of life which makes it a popular holiday home destination.

There is a project for road between Samokov, Borovets and Gutsal to be biuld. This will makes access to Samokov and ski resort of Borovets very fast and easy. The road will also lead to Plovdiv as currently all traffic from this region of Bulgaria must pass through Borovets. The road will be 17kms long, making Borovets only 7kms away. It will be constructed from European funds.
