Home description

Rock House is situated in South East Bulgaria in the beautiful village of Glavan. Your hosts are Tony and Hilary. We are an English couple who has chosen to make Bulgaria and Glavan our home. We would like to extend to you a warm welcome to our house and our village.

The self contained apartment for our guests is on the top floor of the house with views across the valley to the mountains. Your accommodation consists of a large sitting room with a double bed sofa and single bed chair. A comfortable bedroom, with king size double bed. A well equipped kitchen dinner. Your bathroom is fitted with a shower, sink and wc. In the grounds of the house you will find a seating area for your use. In the Utility room on the premises there is a washing machine and tumble dryer.

If your are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday then Rock House can offer you this. Other activities that are available are Walking, riding, birdwatching, and mountain biking . At night you can stargaze. The area is also ideal for artist or would be artist and photographers to capture the beauty of Bulgaria. There are many fishing lakes in the area for that relaxing day and tales of the one that got away.

Our Bulgarian neighbours are of a warm hearted disposition. You will be able to observe village life, and the ways of these delightful people. The village has a post office and several shops, along with a good selection of cafes/bars. You can enjoy your chosen drink and watch the village activities.

Tony and Hilary want your stay at Rock House to be enjoyable and will be on hand to assist in any way we can. All you have to do is ask. We want you to remember Rock House as a place “Where time is pleasant.”

Glavan

Glavan is semi mountain, with walking, birdwatching, fishing, hunting, the night sky is amazing due to no light polution. The village has a post office, shops, and cafes. The locals are a warm hearted people.
