Rila Heights Guesthouse overlooks the small mountain village of Madjare.All rooms offer a stunning mountain view and our terrace provides panoramic views of the village and surrounding countryside.The house has been recently refurbished to a high standard and all the comforts of home are available to our guests including the Lounge with TV,DVD and Playstation and the computer room with internet access,TV,Video,DVD and a wide selection of board games.

A good nights ''Craic'' can be had sitting around our large dining table enjoying Rosie's famous home cooking or just relax in the garden and listen to the wonderful sound of silence.

Madjare

Madjare is a beautiful unspoilt mountain village situated on the edge of the Rila National Park and close to Bulgaria's premier ski resort of Borovets.The smaller ski centres of Maliovitsa and Govedartsi are also only minutes away.
In summer the village comes alive with wildlife,flora and fauna with Storks swooping overhead and horses and cattle grazing in the meadows. The Village maintains its local traditions with water collected from the mountain spring and fire wood or hay transported by horse and cart. There are several shops and cafes providing everything you need and a regular bus service connects with the local town of Samokov.
