This beautiful extensively redeveloped home, named ‘Villa Planinski Izgled’ - Mountain View is located in the small village of Dospei approximately 2km from the main town of Samokov and only 2km from the International Ski Resort of Borovets, which is expected to undergo serious and very luxurious reconstruction. The busy capital Sofia and the International Airport are at about an hour’s drive from here.
Due for completion in November 2004, just for the start of the new ski season, the house offers three bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to eight people. There is a large entrance hall with washroom and a large feature open fire in the centre of the house. Leading through to a fully equipped kitchen, complete with breakfast bar, a dining room, which will comfortably sit six, and a spacious lounge, which will sleep two.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms with ample room for six to sleep; the two large bedrooms each have a balcony looking out on the breathtaking views of the mountains. The bathroom has a separate bath, shower, and WC. Outside the house there is a terrace area with BBQ and adequate off road parking for one car.
A few kilometres away from Villa Planinski Izgled is the oldest Bulgarian resort of Borovets, which is hidden amongst the beautiful pinewoods that cover the northern slopes of Mount Musala. It has an extremely favourable climate of a cool summer and a mild snowy winter making Borovets the largest and the most popular mountain resort in Bulgaria.
Along with the National Park, the resort provides excellent opportunities for a whole range of winter sports, from various Alpine sports to cross country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon on its first class ski slopes. The resort has 17 well-maintained ski slopes with a combined total length of 40 km. The highest point is at 2534m above the sea level.
Borovets is lovely to visit in the summer too. There are many activities, such as hill walking, mountain climbing, abseiling, fishing, and horse riding all set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful Bulgarian scenery. There is plenty happening throughout the year.
