The Old Bistrilitza Houses Complex consists of four houses, which accommodate 26 + 2 people and are located in the village of Bistrilitsa.
The "Old Bistrilishka House" was built some 100 years ago and was completely restored in 1999. It offers a bedroom, hall and a double room (total of 4 beds), WC with shower. The House has a well equipped kitchen with a traditional Bulgarian fireplace, where the guests can cook their dishes themselves. There are also a indoor verandah looking at the Kom Peak, perferct place for a morning cup of coffee. A spacious garden with flowers and blossoming trees, as well as barbeque, are available for the tourists' recreation.
"New Bistrilitza House-1" is the second house of the Complex. It has three bedrooms (2 beds each), WC and shower, terrace and winter garden. On the first floor there is a fitted kitchen with cooking facilities and a dining-room.
In the yard, there is an old barn which now is renovated as "Saloon Old Bistrilitsa Barn" - 25 places, well isolated with a local heating and music system. There are also playgrounds for volleyball, badminton, football and basketball.
A lot of flowers and fruit trees (pear-, apple-, plum- and apricot-trees) grow in the near-by garden.
The House offers an oven and a drying-room for mushrooms, herbs and fruits.
There is also a cold well in the yard, suitable for cooling the bevarages and indoor parking lot for one car.
"New Bistrilitza House-2" has three bedrooms (2 beds in each), WC, shower and terrace.
There is also a fitted kitchen with cooking facilities and a dining room.
A huge walnut tree gros in the yard, next to a small vegetable garden.
A barbeque is also available.
"New Bistrilitsa house- 3" has also three bedrooms (2 double and one triple), WC, shower and terrace.
There is also a fitted kitchen with cooking facilities and a Mehana with old fireplace called "Odjack"!
The "Old Bistrilishka Houses Eco - Complex" offers transfer from the Sofia Airport with Daewoo-Nexia with air-conditioner.
The complex is situated in the skirts of Stara Planina. The environment is clean, guaranteed by the mountain, rivers and dams. Tourists can have their dream holiday or weekend, provided by beautiful nature and hosts' hospitality.
While staying in Bistrilitza, tourists can go on excursions with a Tourist guide, ride bikes, walk through the eco-tracks or gather mushrooms, herbs and fruits.
The ski fans will find excellent conditions for skiing at Kom Peak (30 km away). The lift track is 1500 m long with capacity of 800 skiers per hour. Available are ski-rent equipments and a Ski school.
- The town of Berkovitza is a national resort. It is situated in the mountain: the winter there is mild and the summer is cool. Near the town there are several spa sentres.
- Varshets spa is at 15 km away from the town of Berkovitza. Its mineral water is warm, clean, with moderate pH 8,7. It is effective for diseases of the nervous system, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, excretory system, gynecological problems (barren), skin diseases, eye diseases. The balneological complex offers all modern treatment methods internal and external water treatment, climate therapy, physical therapy, manual therapy, Chinese medicine, psychotherapy, etc.
- The village of Bistrilitza is at 17 km away from the town of Berkovitza. Significant traces of ancient Greek, Roman and Thracian culture in the region were found here. The village has been a center of historical Bulgarian uprisings.
- The Lopushna Monastery is at 7 km away from Bistrilitza. The church is famous for its stone plastics, wooden carved iconostasis and icons made by artists of the famous Samokov school (19 century).
- The Klisura Monastery is near Varshets spa. It has been ruined several times and was rebuilt in 1900 in traditional Renaissance style.
- The first town established in South Eastern Europe – Chiprovtzi is at 25 km from Bistrilitza. It is well known for the home-woven carpets in traditional style. There you can also visit Chiprovtsi Monastery.
- At 65 km you can visit Belogradchik rocks and fortress. At 30 km from Belogradchik you can also visit Magura cave with its pre-historical stone paintings.
- The springs of Ogosta river are at 25 km from the village of Bistrilitza. This is a very beautiful part of the region, in virgin woods, in the mountain.
- At some 3.5 km from the village of Bistrilitza you will find one of the largest dams in Bulgaria, Ogosta dam. It has a swimming pool and an entertainment complex with a discotheque. The region is rich in rivers and micro-dams, suitable for fishing and water sports.
