The location of BRT is second to none. Right opposite the Gondola car park and a very short walk to get up the slopes!
The complex has many facilities. There is a superb a la carte restaurant whose chef is from the capital of Sofia. There is also a bar restaurant which serves steaks, burgers, pasta, pizza and other tempting dishes to a very high standard. There is a sports bar/night club with satellite TV. On the spa side, there is a sauna, jacuzzi, gym, mineral pool, indoor and outdoor pool and relaxation area.
On site there is a bank, numerous shops, reception and 24/7 security and secure parking for guests.
The newest and without doubt, the best Bulgarian winter resort, Bansko provides an interesting combination between the Pirin Mountains and the ambience of the ancient Bulgarian old town.
The town itself is mesmerising and charming. With small back streets hosting cosy fire lit mehana's to delight you with their local delicacies, homecooked food and live traditional music to the street cafe's, shops and architecture it is sure to entice you back again and again.
Bansko hosts an annual beer festival and jazz festival which is extremely popular amongst Bulgarians and foreigners alike. For those who enjoy a stroll around a large Sunday market, Bansko does not disappoint. The town also has an outdoor Ice Rink to enjoy.
Not far away is the famous Rila Monastery which is a must to see.
Founded in the 10th century, the Rila Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria's most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments. It is on account of this also a key tourist attraction in Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe as a whole.
The Old Town of Bansko with its cosy Mehana's, shops, cafe's and stunning history is a short walk away and the new Ian Woosnam golf course in Razlog is just 10 minutes by car. As well as a winter resort, Bansko is a great place to come for walking/hiking/horse riding and fishing in the summer months.
Situated on the south-west side of Bulgaria at the foot hills of the Pirin range, this beautiful alpine region offers history, superb scenery and its own ancient town.
