The area of Brazil-Buzios includes Armação de Buzios, dozens of beaches and several islands. As regards its geography, the Buzios region is a volcanic peninsula of 8 km long where hills “morros” plunge into the sea to form cliffs, caves and small beaches. Surrounding Buzios, there is a great amount of small rocky islands, quite attractive to practice scuba diving or snorkeling.
There are a few long and vast beaches in Buzios, Geribá, João Fernandes and Ferradura are the best ones. For nature lovers, there is a great amount of secluded small beaches without any infrastructure, where it is peaceful and quiet during the high season.
