LaToya's is located near a popular wind surfing and body boarding spot "The Chair" .
within 5 minutes drive is East Point Lighthouse also known as Ragged Point Lighthouse' which has been in existence since 1875 and is still operational and has the most picturesque view.

The island boast three oustanding golf courses: Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland located on the West coast about 30 minutes drive and the Barbados Golf Club located to the South of the island is 20 minutes drive from LaToya's. For lovers of miniature golf there is a course and marine park nearby.

A visit to Barbados is not complete without eating at the renowned Outdoor Fish Fry at Oistin and visiting the popular St. Lawerence Gap, these are all within 30 -40 minutes drive.

The area of St. Philip is known for it nature attractions and persons can join nature walks within this area. Public transportation can be obtain to places throughout the island from this location.

Saint Philip

Located in the South East of the island, St. Philip is known for beautiful and unspoilt beaches ideal for swimming, body boarding, surfing, relaxing, etc. Popular beaches in this area are Crane, East Point, SamLords Castle,Foul Bay and Bottom Bay as well as a number of bays, all located within 5 to 7 minutes. It should also be noted that 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' has rated Crane Beach as "one of the ten best beaches in the world"!

For persons interested in surfing LaToya's is located within 30 minutes drive from "Silver Rock" and "Soup Bowl" surfing spots.


St. Philip offers a number of places of historic interest such as Sunbury House - one of the many outstanding plantation houses which are open daily for viewing; King George V Memorial Park and Samlords Castle.The area also boast a natural spring at Three Houses Park a popular picnic spot.
