Annaberg

Annaberg is a pleasant, family-friendly ski resort, in the middle of the Otscherland and Mariazellerland. Popular with Austrians and at an altitude of 800 to 1400 m, its pistes are famous for their scenic views over the Otscher mountain.

Annaberg ski resort has the magnificently prepared ski runs for all levels of ability, from the beginners' practice run to the steep slope for experts. There are hardly any queues at the lifts and all ski runs are connected to each other - making this an ideal family ski resort. It has 20km of partly treed runs for all standards of skier, 30km of easy cross-country trails, ample snowmaking and efficient modern quads and lifts.

Annaberg ski resort is also part of the Dachstein West ski region, with lift links to Gosau and Russbach, a free ski bus to other centres (Abtenau and St Martin) and the Dachstein Glacier only 30 minutes away.

Annaberg's ski school operates a ski kindergarten and teaches cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
